Technology is growing rapidly and is becoming one of the most profitable industries. So don’t be surprised if a developed country is synonymous with advanced technology. All of these developed countries have been successful in utilizing technology and have finally been able to reap many benefits from their technology industries.

China is one of the countries included in the list of the 20 most innovative countries in the world. Currently ranked 17th, China has successfully demonstrated its government’s success in prioritizing intensive research and development. The country has managed to develop world-class innovations and boost the economy with sophisticated technology industry.

China is also able to produce many quality products that can make people’s lives easier thanks to its technological innovations. Various gadgets to electronic products made in China are also in high demand around the world. Brands like Oppo, Xiaomi, DJI, to JBL are certainly known to our ears. This shows that China’s technological development is already at a high level.

Various Future Advanced Technologies from China

1. Weather change

One of the future cutting-edge technologies from China currently being developed is weather modification. Uniquely it is said that this modified system will cost relatively little. This technology was developed to reduce natural disasters and promote the development of modern agriculture.

This weather modification system will include a large network of fuel combustion chambers mounted high in the Tibetan mountains. Its function is to bring more rain to the Tibetan Plateau and make it the largest freshwater reserve in Asia. This will surely be the largest weather modification project in the world. To date, more than 500 burners have been installed on mountain slopes in Tibet and the data have shown very promising results.

2. Tianhe-2

Tianhe 2 is the world’s fastest supercomputer. This Chinese-made technology is a continuation of the first version of Tianhe-1, launched in 2010. Tianhe 2 was able to beat the supercomputer from the USA called Titan, which previously won the title of the world’s fastest supercomputer. Titan itself can only operate at a speed of 17.6 petraflops per second. While Tianhe 2 can operate at a speed of 30.7 petraflops per second.

Despite winning the International Supercomputing Conference, Tianhe 2 still has many official tests to pass. Tianhe 2’s presence in Asia should bring many benefits. For example, for aircraft testing, processing large amounts of data to ensure the security of government systems from cybercrime attacks.

3. Quantum Research Satellite

Another latest technology from China that is spreading around the world is the Quantum Science Satellite. This is the world’s first quantum satellite. The satellite was launched on board a Long March 2D rocket.

The quantum satellite is here to make communication networks more secure from cyber-attacks. China also uses this satellite to conduct electronic reconnaissance around the world. The release of this satellite is also a sign that China’s technology is growing and China can be considered one of the leaders in the IT field in the future.

4. Artificial sun

The artificial sun is one of the Chinese technology projects launched in 2018. This project was carried out to find environmentally friendly energy sources. Later, this Chinese discovery will make an important contribution to the development of nuclear fusion science.

They developed the project, officially named Man-Made Sun, based on the working theory of the sun and stars, which is the use of hydrogen fusion to generate thermal energy. In this way, the energy generated is guaranteed to be cleaner and safer than ordinary nuclear reactors.

Currently, the Experimental Advanced Superconductor Tokamak (EAST) reactor is rumored to have reached a temperature of 100 million degrees Celsius. Although the temperature is already six times hotter than the original Sun, the team of scientists still needs to take the next step to realize the desired state-of-the-art energy source.

5. Super Solar Expressway

The Super Solar Expressway is another example of technology from China. This is a toll road with a feature to charge the battery of a moving electric car. This technological breakthrough in the automotive world will certainly be very helpful in minimizing the consumption of fuel oil for cars.

China is to build this 161-kilometer road between Hangzhou and Ningbo. In addition, this toll road will also implement the smart car automatic toll function. This feature can reduce congestion by up to 30%.

6. Elevated transit bus

Transit Elevated Bus is the latest technology concept developed in China. This is an electric public vehicle that runs between two rails that run parallel and at street level. Later, this high-rise bus will have under-car or under-car space to allow smaller ordinary vehicles to enter traffic jams and break through them without consuming roads.

The concept of this vehicle is designed to counteract the problem of such heavy traffic. China will establish elevated bus transit, stopping at each designated station or stop. Passengers can disembark at the side of the bus or they can use the built-in stairs passengers can get through the overpass door.

This electric bus has the potential to save more than 800 tons of fuel per year. Of course, this can also reduce pollution, estimated at up to 2,480 tons of CO2 emissions.

7. Artificial moon

In 2020, China plans to launch an artificial moon. This technology is used to illuminate city streets at night. A homemade moon is said to hang over the city of Chengdu, the capital of southwest China’s Sichuan Province.

The artificial moon is a technology project developed by the Chengdu Aerospace Science and Technology Microelectronics System Research Institute. This artificial moon is a satellite that reflects a reflective layer to reflect sunlight to Earth. Later, this artificial moon will also orbit Earth, which is about 500 kilometers away
